Workshop at a Glance
- Group Size: up to 30 participants with a minimum of 8 participants.
- Duration: Hands-on candle making: 75–90 minutes (larger groups may take longer to complete this portion)
- Setting time: Candles must sit for 90 minutes to 2 hours after pouring before they can be moved.
- Fragrances: Choose from 20 curated options (including seasonal scents)
- Candles: Each participant makes one 8 oz 100% soy wax candle. Candles burn at least 45 hours
- Labels: Candle Studio 1422 branded labels included. Custom labels, that you design, are available at $1 per participant. (We have labels printed prior to event.)
What Happens While Candles Set
Candles take about 90 minutes to two hours to set. After they set, I will cut the wicks, label the jars, and bag the candles. This is great time for employees to take a lunch break, attend meetings, return to their regular work, etc.
Pricing & Policies - Booking Now for 2026!
- Deposit: $75 per participant. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking, with the balance due 5 business days before the event.
- Cancellations: Must be made at least 2 weeks in advance for reschedule eligibility. No refunds for unused seats; supplies are prepared in advance.

Travel policy:

Events within 50 miles of 19350: no travel fee. We service Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area.
- Events beyond 50 miles: mileage billed only for the miles over 50, calculated round trip, at the IRS standard mileage rate (70¢/mile for 2025, GPS directions to your business)

Preparing Your Workspace
- Tables & Chairs: Enough seating and table space for all participants (4 people per 6’ table works best)
- Room Conditions: Indoor space at least 69°F and free from heavy drafts
- Power Access: One standard outlet nearby
- Extra Time: Allow 90–120 minutes after pouring for candles to cure (perfect for a team lunch or meeting)
- Parking & Loading: Easy access for unloading supplies
- For safety and accessibility, workshops should be held on a ground level. If the space is located on an upper floor, an elevator must be available due to the amount of supplies being transported.
Tip: If you have custodial or facilities staff, let them know in advance we’ll need tables/chairs arranged prior to the event.

- I arrive approximately 90 minutes early as wax needs time to melt.

- Do you offer weekend events? No, all events are held Monday - Friday.
- Can you handle more than 30 participants? No, I cap at 30 for the best experience.
- Can we use our company logo on labels? Yes. You will provide a design at least 3 weeks in advance.
- When can the candle be burned? Please allow candles to cure for two weeks prior to burning. This allows the scent to strengthen. This will be explained during workshop and on a candle care card given to each participant.
